Meet Chef Zach!
When it comes to good barbecue, there are a few things that are essential to the flavor. You need patience for slow cooking, quality ingredients and the perfect woods to smoke. But this is barbecue on the beach! We needed a little something extra to set us a part and create a flavor experience perfect for Atlantic Beach.
Enter Chef Zach. We knew we needed more than a pitmaster to create something unique. Chef Zach is indeed a chef! He has an advanced diploma in Culinary Arts from Westminster Kingsway College in London and has spent the past 10+ years working in various restaurants throughout London. He spent time as a Sous Chef at Aquavit London, a Michelin Star rated establishment before moving to Jacksonville to help lead the innovation around our menu.
Chef Zach joined us before we opened our doors and has helped us celebrate the true roots of barbecue while leaning into favorites you’d expect at the beach including fresh seafoods, burgers and wings. He makes sure you receive the highest quality fare, made to perfection, each and every time you visit ABBQ.
